Viktor Ruban is a choreographer, researcher, stage-director, performer, dancer, educator, producer and a coach. Working on a project basis in Ukraine and abroad. Director general of  Ruban Production ITP Ltd., program director and co-founder of  international dance platform “Impulse of Transformation”, program and  artistic director of a venue #KyivDanceResidency - platform for  international movement-based art and research, as well as studies in somatic, dance and performative practices.  trongly inspired by the works of Jaques Ranciere, Roland Barthes, John Dewey and  Franko “Bifo” Berardi. In artistic work explores the correlations between methods of  choreography, poetry and cinematography. Experiments with different ways of involving non-professional  audience into creation process and explores the actual practices of mediation between  contemporary artists and their audience.
